Climate change causes and effects
In contemporary society, the climate change is one of the most important issues that have impacts in many aspects in human’s daily life. Climate change can be showed in three ways, global warming, acid deposition and ozone depletion. These can be caused by both natural causes and human causes and can have economic, social and environmental effects.
The causes of climate change are from two major aspects. Firstly, natural causes which include ocean circulation, continental drift, volcanic eruptions solar variations and etc can cause the climate change. The other cause is due to the human activities which include green house gas, land use changes. Solar variation is one of the most important causes among natural causes. The changes in the output of sun’s energy will change the climate because sun provides the basic energy for our climate system. As for human causes, greenhouse gases are believed to be the crucial cause of the climate change. Gases like water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and the chlorofluorocarbons used in the air conditioners and many industrial processes will lead to the greenhouse effect and therefore warm the earth. These gases are similar to the glass on a greenhouse, allowing sunlight to enter while blocking heat from escaping and finally cause the temperature to go up. Another cause is land use changes. When the land is changed to seasonal crops from forests or urban environments from urban environments, the regional climate system is altered. For example, clear-cut hillsides are significantly warmer than forests.
The first effect of climate change is economic effects, and most of these effects are negative effects. The climate change will result in a loss in the country’s economy, especially those countries whose major incomes are from agriculture.

REFLECTION
First grading was over and I remembered how I welcome second grading. I was so glad that I was now in the second grading period of my fourth year high school. Reflections??? It was not that easy but it was not also difficult. Parts of a Web Browser, Page Address, Search Engines, HTML, HTML Tags and Tag Attributes were some of our lessons in the second grading period.
In the first place, when I am surfing the Internet, I didn't mind what the parts of Web Browser and Page Address are. I only memorized the most used parts. But now, because of our subject ICT and our dear teachers, my knowledge increases especially in computers. I also met some words like HTML and HTML Tags. We have also lots of exercises in which we’re going to use the Notepad. My skills in writing were also enhanced because I have tried my best to write my drafts and posted them on my blogs. The subjects of our blogs were sometimes hard but then I have done my blogs and finished them on time.
I have also experienced difficulties when we were having quizzes because I can’t remember what I have reviewed. But the hardships and pressure were not the reason to give up.

My Teacher My Hero
In life, people may come and go, some will be remembered and some are forgotten. But one thing is for sure, I'll never forgot the person who is known as my second parent.
Who did efforts for me to gain knowledge, the one who has been my guide for so many years, the one who scolds and corrects me when I am doing wrong, the one who has been there as I face to reach the stepping stones in my life. The one who appreciates my efforts, the one who is always there to feed me a bit-full of information that I might use someday, the one who saves me from this unfair life where everyone should be feed with the same level of knowledge. The person who sacrifices for our own good, and yet, the laziness that I've shown them, the tiredness that they have seen from me.
After all, they never give up and they never stop to fill us with knowledge and when we are going to fall, they are always there to reach our hand and pull us back and so, the years might have been overthrown, and everything will fade, but they always be my hero for life and for all that efforts and sacrifices that they've done for us. How would life be without our teacher?

My Modern Hero
In today's society, it is hard to know someone who another person can look up to as a hero. It takes a special quality and person for others to know they can look up to and follow without worrying about being lead astray. The modern day hero I have chosen is someone who not only is willing to lay his life down for another, but also is willing to fight for everyone's freedom.
Gigibel Reotutar and Dennis Reotutar are my modern heroes. They are my parents, Their Occupation is owning a business. I chose them as my modern hero because when I was a child, they are the one who were there for me, they are the one were caring to me, they are the one who was sacrificing for us and to our own needs. They are my guardians. They are protecting me to whoever fought to me. They served as my best friends but sometimes they were my enemies. But thou we have conflicts in our home, I always approach them if I realize my mistakes.
I am so very glad that I have my parents. So we have to love them as our modern hero.

Tatag ng Wikang Filipino, Lakas ng Pagka-Pilipino
When the month of August comes. It comes automatically to our mind is "BUWAN NG WIKA". We always remember this but do we know what is the meaning of these celebration?
Month of August proclaimed as our "BUWAN NG WIKA". The late president Manuel L. Quezon proclaimed this celebration to all Filipino that "Tagalog" will be our Pambansang Wika. We are celebrating the "BUWAN NG WIKA" to appreciate our own language w/c is the "Tagalog". Francisco Baltazar, the father of Balagtasan also used and widened our language. But some Filipino's do not appreciate and do not know about the true meaning of "BUWAN NG WIKA". "BUWAN NG WIKA" is all about loving and caring to our own language.
We must love and be proud to our own language. Because this this is our mark as a Filipino people.

Letter For The President
Dear Sir:
It is a great pleasure for a 4th year student like me to have this opportunity to write a letter for you sir. Well, it has quite been a long time when you were elected as the president of the Philippines. For the two years that you've been a servant of the people, I can say that you really did a good job and I salute you for that. Even though many are complaining about your service, my impression for you did not really changed at all because your duty is not easy. I am very thankful that you have many projects in our place. The construction and repair of public highways, scholarships, feeding programs, and many more. Your projects would really help a lot. Even though if we view your help in a higher position and we can see it small, it is not at all in our hearts.
Well, this is all I can say for now. Thank you Mr. President! May God bless you sir.
Respectfully yours,
MARL DAVE REOTUTAR

SONA 2012
July 23 2012 President NoyNoy take his 3rd State of the Nation Address (SONA). He talks about of what he did last year of his service in our country. This day mary Filipino people are expecting of his projects.
But in his 3rd SONA . I am very disappointed because President Bening no Aquino III talks about of what he has done. Like the numbers of unemployed Filipinos in our country will be decreased. A year passed by now, this promise was not yet done. And I am very disappointed because of this.
I wish that in his 4th SONA he will do what ever he said.

Nutrition Month Celebration
Nutrition Month focuses on vegetables for several reasons: Filipinos are eating less and less vegetables. In terms of age groups, children six months to five years old consumed only a little amount of vegetables. Studies show that among the reasons for low vegetable consumption are: influence of family members who do not eat vegetables, dislike for vegetables because of taste and texture, cultural beliefs about vegetables, cost, preparation time, fear of chemicals.
Vegetables as part of a healthy diet can help prevent major non-communicable diseases such as cardiovascular disease, stomach cancer, colorectal cancer, obesity, and diabetes. Consumption of vegetables can help prevent micronutrient deficiencies. Vegetables ensure an adequate intake of most micronutrients, dietary fibers, and a host of essential non-nutrient substances. Eating vegetables may help decrease bone loss as vegetables decrease the amount of calcium excreted in the urine. It may help lower calorie intake and thus help in maintaining healthy weight because vegetables are low in calories and do not contain cholesterol.

My Reflection.
In TLE subject, during in the first grading period, I am expecting a lot lessons we will learned. I have learn so many about in the web or in the computer. First that we discuss is about the people who made SPUTNIK, ARPANET and many more about in the web. And also about the Blog. If what is the meaning of Blog and the kinds of it. We also learned about how to make Blog and post in the blog.
During in this period, I had encountered many problems, like when I wanted to post my own. In addition, if there is no vacant computer in our computer lab. The most problem that I encountered is the slow internet connection in the computer lab.
But when I already know how the rules in posting my own blog, I havent lost hope to accomplished these problems. However, I went to a computer shop just to finish my own blog.
Moving on, I will apply all that I learned in this subject when the time comes.
